The care we provide to each of our horses is designed to help you achieve you personal goals while keeping your equine partner fit and happy.
--Our individualized feeding programs take into account: the latest research on nutrition; its affect on muscle quality and development; as well as the horses overall health.
--Our employees are trained to handle you horse with patience and respect.
--We can take the worry and remembering out of horse ownership by maintaining your horse's schedules for: vaccinations, shoeing, worming and other necessary or complementary care. This assures that all horses at Rhythm and Blues are current with all required health care.
Lastly, the atmosphere at Rhythm and Blues Stables is peaceful. We are located on 33 acres, surrounded by trees and in the heart of New Jersey's most beautiful horse country. Rhythm and Blues is a community of people dedicated to the care and enjoyment of horses.
Facilities
Rhythm and Blues is located on 33 acres with 20 acres of newly improved pastures. Our facilities include.
--22 Stalls --2 grooming stalls and 2 Wash Stalls (1 with Heat Lamps) --80' X 208' Indoor Arena (with overhead watering system and Permaflex and sand footing) --Sand Outdoor 110' X 170' --Boarders Tack room -- Individual or small group (2-4 horses) turnout
Standard Board- $810 + tax
Daily turnoutweather permitting. Night turnout during the Summer if you want- not required
Hay4 times a day
Grain (Safechoice, Vintage Senior, Strategy) 2 or 3 times a day
Hooves picked after turnout
Blanketing
Fly sheets and masks on and off
Bell boots on and off
Two lessons per month
Health maintenance ( We can take the worry out of scheduling vaccinations, worming, dental checkups and farrier. We can also arrange for specialty performance care, such as chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy. ) We have wonderful health care providers, but you, of course, may use your own vet, farrier or any other health care provider your horse needs!
Full Training Board
Includes the above and riding, lunging or a lesson 5 days per week. Together we will create a training program to help you achieve your goals.
Half Training Board
Includes standard board and riding 3 days a week, or 2 rides and 1 lesson a week. Together we will create a training program to help you achieve your goals.
